This is a reminder that Pacifica will be hosting a Introduction to Pacifica’s Graduate Degree Programs on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2 at the Lambert Road Campus (with visits to the Ladera Lane Campus at the end of the day).
Please join us! For new staff or faculty, these Introduction days are a valuable opportunity to learn a great deal about Pacifica. We encourage you to participate in the full day if it is at all possible (please see attached schedule). If you are interested in attending, please let me know. Steve encourages all department heads to allow your staff to attend!
Faculty and Staff who are on the Lambert Campus are invited
to have lunch as our guest. Rincon will be here to provide a special lunch
for Introduction participants between 12:45-2. If you are assisting participants
through the lunch break, please eat lunch between 12:15-12:45 (Bookstore &
Library). If you are not working the event, we ask that you go through
the line after 1 pm. If you wish to eat your own lunch in the dining
room, please do it before 12:45 or after 1:45. We appreciate your cooperation on
this.
IF YOU WISH TO EAT LUNCH ON SATURDAY, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23. Please help us out by responding so that you can be
included in the counts. (Admissions, Bookstore, Library, Transportation do
not need to respond as I already have you in the counts.)
The
purpose of this day is to provide an opportunity for potential students who are
interested in our graduate degree programs to experience a taste of Pacifica.
They will hear presentations by Dennis Patrick Slattery and Marion Woodman
(tentative); attend program information meetings with program chairs or
faculty; hear from alumni regarding their experiences in the various programs;
learn about admissions procedures and financial aid; and visit the bookstore and
library. In addition, shuttle service will be provided at the end of the day for
the participants to visit the Ladera Lane Campus.
